Today I subbed a story about some Irish chick who gave birth aboard a cruise liner. The catch is that she didn’t actually know she was pregnant. (I’ve always wondered about these unexpected babies – do the mothers not feel them kick in the womb?)
Anyway, the headline I gave it (that fit perfectly) was:
‘Crew used to berthing help with birth of surprise baby’
It got changed by the check sub though :(
